My best ever trip to GOA ... 9th Dec 2006 - 11th Dec 2006
One of the most memorable trip in my life.
On this trip we were eight guys. Members on the trip were( from the Left)...myself, Varun kapoor,Mohit gulati(standing behind), deep(gol matol), Gaurav garg, Ashish agarwal, Saurabh sharma, Rahul vats( not in the photo). The person standing next to saurabh is his uncle.
It was a long time when we were together after passing from college in 2005( 6th june 2005).
we planned to go for a trip where we all can meet and share our life's expected and unexpected experiences.
It was 3rd of sep 2006 morning 6.50 AM. Gaurav got up early as he used to go to his office early.he was reading times of india and he saw an advertisement where Air Deccan Air irlines was offering ZERO rupees air tickets to fly anywhere in india( inclusive of taxes) between december 2006 and jan 2007. He shared this news with us (saurabh, brijesh, ashish, mohit and vats). The moment we decided to go for a trip somewhere and then ideas started flying. And then suddenly someone said.....WHAT ABT GOA???......and then we decided ...ok its done..we will go to GOA during dec 2006 but still the dates were not finilized.
Gaurav with Ashish went to office( Vmoksha Technologies Bangalore) and decided for 9th dec to 11th dec as the dates for the unforgettable trip to GOA. and then the 6 tickets were booked for 1857/- only per person as the flying fares to goa and coming back.
Journey from Bangalore/Pune/Mumbai to GOA Airport

After booking tickets from Bangalore to Goa, we have informed about the ticket booking to Deep( Infosys Pune) and Varun ( TCS Mumbai). Deep has checked his availability during that time ( 9th dec Saturday to 11 dec Monday). And after that he was ready to come over there. Varun had no problems with this as if he was ready to go there anytime. You just need to inform him and he will be ready without giving any chance to the second thought to come into his mind. And then the plan for the GOA was set.

8th Dec 2006 07.20 PM Pune.

Deep has to describe this

8th Dec 2006 07.20 PM Mumbai
Varun has to describe this.

How these two guys met before leaving from Pune, the bus was abot to leave in just 5 minutes and these guys were not in picture. The driver had started the Bus and Deep was trying to convince him that VArun will arrive here shortly but the driver was not ready to listen any more. Suddenly from some where Varun arrived and then they both started their journey together from Pune Bus station to Goa around 9 PM on 8th Dec 2006.

9th Dec 2006 11.05 AM. Bangalore

We 6 (bangaloreans) left the house around 11.05 Am to reach Airport. Airport is around 4Kms from our house. We had our flight at 12.20 PM. but when we reached there we heard it that the flight got delayed by 25 minutes. Any ways this all u can easily expect from Air Deccan Airlines which is famous for low cost and late time flight.

We started our journey around 12:45 and reached GOA airport( Vasco airport) around 1:45 PM ( exactly one hour). But before that we saw an amazing scene. Just 5 minutes before landing on the Goa airport , we were flying on top of ARABIAN SEA and the look was amazing . It was like as if we are not in India but we were somewhere in Dreams land. Goa was covered with very beautiful scenic beauty from all the sides.

We all met there at the airport with Saurabh’s Uncle waiting for all of us there with the Qualis. His uncle is a captain of the ship.

9th dec 2006 2.15 PM
Goa Airport to Vasco Residency GOA..

Then we directly went to Vasco residency. Sauarbh’s uncle had arranged the Qualis as well as the room for our stay in Vasco residency. We booked a big room. It was a 6 seater room with 2 fans, a TV with cable connection and a very nice balcony.

The photo as you see on the top was taken by Rahul Vats on the balcony.
9th dec 2006 3.10 PM
Vasco Residency to SHIP..

We had some tea and snacks there and then directly we rushed to the SHIP near Vasco port. It was a huge ship. I had never seen such a big ship in my life in reality. Saurabh’s uncle is the captain of that ship. The ship name was _______. ( need to ask Saurabh’s uncle).

We went inside the ship, had some more snacks which includes tea, lemon juice and some pakodas with other people on the ship.

We left the ship around 4.00 pm and rushed to Uncle’s house. Auty had prepared a lot of very good varieties of delicious items includes gajar ka halwa coffee n many more. Not able to remember all those stuff. After that we left for Bogmalo beach.
9th dec 2006..5.54 PM
Maiden journey to Bogmalo Beach, Vasco ..
It was around 6:30 PM when we put our first steps on the sand of Bogmalo beach. silent wind was blowing all over the way.
Bogmalo is just another small fishing village, surrounded by a pair of palm fringed
headlands at the northern end of Colva bay. The presence of the sandy beach at the
end of the cove makes it even more picturesque and breathtaking.
As the waves lash the parapets of the open-air restaurant, the drone of the
restless Arabian Sea lulls to sleep even the most insomniac.
The meaning of the lines above is:
samudra ki lahren shor karte huye kinaare aa rahi thi aur ja rahi thi...aise me hum log kaise rok paaate ek doosre ko......fir kya tha.....fatafat kapde utaarna shuru aur kood pade Bogmalo ki lahron me...

Friendship : Best Definitions

My Definition:
If you kick him he doesnot mind and if he kicks you, you dont mind...

Its not just a relation....its a relation of feelings.....its a relation between minds and soles...

Friendship is a relation among you and someone with whom you enjoy a very close and mutual affection.
Friend is a person that you can trust, you can discuss everything including problems, and who helps you if you need it.

In teenage life friendship is one of the most determining factors. I mean: your social future depends on with whom you make friends. Most of the teenage friendships are shallow, so these won’t take long. But of course, there are real friends who stay friends after years.

Everybody needs one friend at least because everybody needs somebody whose mentality, taste, opinion in different topics and personality is similar to his/hers. This person can be one’s love or a friend. In front of this person we don’t have to be ashamed, we don’t have to be secretive because we can entirely trust this person because (s)he keeps our secrets and give advice when it’s necessary.

The importance of friendships is to have people around you to depend on and lean on if bad times come, to make life easier and happier and to help getting through bad times.

Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It

Success is an elusive animal for many of us. For others it is a daily achievement. Whichever side of this fence you live on we all must admit that true success requires specific mindset and purposeful action. How do you implement these two and integrate them to enable you to live your dream life? The answer is both easy and challenging.

The first thing you must do is to embrace your dream. Without a goal or dream you have no purpose. It is like taking a trip without looking at a map and planning your route. I am sure you would agree that when you want to take a trip somewhere you've never been before this is really not a wise decision.

Most likely you would not only want to know the best route to take but also what to see and do once you got there. Toward this end you wouldn't just pick up a map and go for it. More likely, you would want to talk to someone who had knowledge of your destination. Perhaps you would even go to the library or bookstore and get books on the city. At the very least, you would want to go to your local travel guide and ask for any information they might have that would help you find your way. If you happened to be a member of AAA you would get a detailed 'trip tick' (route map) that included the road hazards along the way. Armed with this information these hazards could easily be avoided or at the very least not take you by surprise.

The same goes for your dream. Once you have a clear idea of what you want in life find someone who has already achieved it and follow their advice, if they are willing to mentor you, so much the better. Having gone his road before you they will be better able to assist you in getting past the hazards that your will encounter along the way.

The next thing you need to do is adjust your attitude. Believe that you can achieve your dream. Learn to live each day with a positive mindset. Begin to instill in your mind the unquenchable desire of your heart.

One way to do this is to post affirmations in places where you will see them often throughout your day. You might create a dream board, or even just put a miniature reminder in your pocket or purse that you will stumble across each time your hand goes into it. Don't know what a dream board is? It is a collage of pictures of what it will be like when you are actually living your dream. A very good friend of mine takes this a step further. As a life and business coach, Kim Emerson of the University of Prosperity and Prosperity Mindset (www.prosperitymind-set.com), has been creating what she calls Reality Boxes for her clients for a number of years. With great care and planning, she puts together her clients dream, places the pieces of the dream within a treasure type box and sends them off for the client to assemble. It is a unique way of capturing the very heart of the vision that her clients express. Eula DeMasi says of her Reality Box, "What an amazing and grounding experience! This reality box really helped me to re- focus my attention and get a handle on my life."
Another example I like to use is a new car. Since many of us get so much joy from this one it is easy for many to relate. Let's say you want a new car, don't just say, "I want a new car," decide on the make, model and even the color. Then go and find one and sit in it. Go so far as to have a friend take a picture of you sitting in it. While you are sitting there in it, close your eyes. Sit there and experience, really experience, the moment. Focus; smell how it smells, feel how it feels. Run your hands over the seats, the steering wheel. Picture in your mind actually driving the car, not just around the streets but all the way into your driveway or garage. In this way you will begin believing in your very soul that you can, or better yet, that you have already achieved your dream. Accept no naysayers! Claim it as a reality for you.

If you find it difficult to do this have a friend help you. Another life coach and author of Bertha Size Your Life!, Jane Carroll (www.berthasize.com), recently reminded me that if you swap dreams with a friend and have them write a vision of you in the future tense living your dream they will often see you more successful than you will allow yourself to become. For an example, I personally swapped stories with my partner in Jane's class and while my dream is to live in Switzerland, I placed myself in a chalet while my partner had me living in a castle. Give it a try. Not only is this fun but you might even begin to feel your dream grow bigger. Jane puts it this way, "We've trained ourselves not to get our hopes up for fear we may be let down. It's so much easier to hold the vision for someone else because we don't view it through the same filters."
Once you have set your sights on the prize, mapped out your path and accept the responsibility for your own success, if you continually work at making your dream a reality you will achieve it.
