My first trip outside India and this was the Europe trip (specially covered Germany and Paris). This trip started on 28th of march 2008 and ended on 13th April 2008. It was full of uncontrolled fun and amazing visits. It was very cold there when i landed there. Temperature would be around -2'C. But it was keep on changing everyday. I have from my german colleague that april behaves in its own way and it was going the same way.
My 2nd day at Mannheim was one of my memorable day. Some unusual things happened that
day. As Germany is famous for its world class BEER and one called Hefa Wizen i liked the most.
It is a product from wheat and so tastes very smooth. After having a nice night out at Heidelberg
with Raki-Taquila, Zambooka, Hefa-wizen and donar kabap( very filly), me and Sathish one of my DART colleague were going back to the Tram station at heudelberg. The wind was very cold and it was around 00:20 am when the tram came and next day we had to catch a train for Black Forest at around 7.00 am. So we both were rushing to have a short sleep. On 30th march, around 5.30 am, Sathish called me and asked 'hey brijesh whats d time, i said its just 5.30 am without looking at the landline number time but the actual time at that time was 6.30 am.
We reached the station to catch our train but there was no train at that time and the next train was around after 40 minutes. We thought may be we have missed our train. So we had our breakfast and then we started for Black Forest. On the way to Titisee Lake( near to Black Forest), we got down at Freiberg and there what we saw was unbelievable. The time was running 1 hour fast. we saw two clocks one was showing 9.00 am(wall clock) and the other clock at the station was showing 10.00 am. Then we thought its because of Day Light Saving.
After that we covered some places at Freiberg like Castle, Freiberg Tower and the church which was constructed in 1530 AD. atlast we reached at Titisee lake view. It was awesome. first time in my life I was walking thru the snow and playing with that.
So that's was my trip to Black Forest. Unforgettable moment.
